4/25/26 – This thing is just a beast and it smells amazing. It’s starting to put on some weight with all the new flowers!

Leaning heavily away from the south facing fence, exposing the Ray Hartman Ceanothus and the Lester Rowntree manzanita.

4/10/26 – I think it’s impossible to over prune this beast! Flowers are just starting to form.

11/14/25 – Starting to flower after the recent rains. It’s quite a bit smaller than it was at the peak of flower this summer. I cut it back pretty hard to make room for some of the other plants.

6/12/25 – The plant is starting to get weighted down with so many flowers.

6/3/25 – still covered in flowers and it’s hard to capture the true color in photos.

5/26/25 – This thing is pushing flowers like crazy! It’s such a great plant and very popular with the pollinators.

5/15/25 – Pozo Blue gets HUGE when it’s happy, so keep this in mind if planting this. This plant seems to have ‘spread’ quite a bit after a big windstorm a couple months back.

5/1/25 – This plant has EXPLODED the last couple of months.

4/7/25 – Looking pretty good considering I had to use zip ties and plant stakes to repair it after a big storm a few weeks back.

3/26/25 – First flowers forming after planting last year

2/22/25 – should start flowering soon. Removed the Salvia Amante that was spreading like crazy via rhizome.

11/24/24 Planted in spring 2024 from a 4″ pot

6/9/24 Just after planting

2/22/25 – Pozo Blue Sage in the backyard, the cement ring is for protection from the dogs.

4/2/25 – Backyard Pozo Blue doing well
