Conchita

9/27/25 – Anchoring the berm very nicely, very short and dense, and nothing at all like my real Chocha, other than the flower color being identical. I’m going to have to prune this after it flowers this winter, it’s starting to encroach on the path.

7/6/25 – Just a few days shy of 1 year in the ground. This is a wonderful little plant! The REAL Concha I planted last year is 6′ tall and does not have the wonderful form that this one does. I also got rid of the bush germandar plant and replaced it with a sunset manzanita.

4/9/25 – Peak Flower

4/1/25 – Flowers are coming on strong now

3/28/25 – Flowering nicely in it’s 1st year. Paired with Ceanothus Centennial, Bush Germander, Bee’s Bliss and Pacific Mist manzanita.

1/16/25 – conchita is looking very nice, I love the compact, umbrella shape of the plant so far. It’s maybe 1 foot tall currently and about 4 feet wide. It’s a perfect shade of green and it looks great on the end of the berm. I still need to weed and mulch on this end of the berm.

10/27/24 Conchita from the backside

7/11/24 – “Conchita”Purchased from Linda Vista Natives. Paired with Centennial Ceanothus and a Pacific Mist Manzanita. This is supposed to be a smaller version of the Concha, topping out around 5 feet.
