4/25/26 – In the ground for ~14 months and has only grown a couple of inches…..but it’s still alive in this spot, so that’s hopeful. This one has been getting the neglect treatment and it seems to be happy with that approach.
2/14/25 – Purchased a new plant and added it to backyard so that it is shaded for the hottest part of the day.
Planted this underneath a very young Louis Edmunds Manzanita.

4/22/24 – Just before a big storm snapped the top branch off!

Watered October 1st and then we were slammed a few days later with 100 degree temps.
October 4th starting to look bad pretty quickly
I’m pretty sure it’s dead. I took a cutting of it just before I watered and it rooted.
