Toyon

3/23/25 – Starting to gets it’s legs under it and filling out nicely. I should have flowers and berries this year at this rate!

1/13/25 – Starting to grow nicely in these last few months. Oleander is now just a stump that I will dig up in the coming months. This Toyon was planted as a replacement for the Oleander. I’m trying to replace non-native and toxic plants in the yard with California natives that benefit wildlife.

9/8/24seems to be doing well, it’s put on a few inches in last few months. The English Ivy has been removed and the Oleander cut back severely.

Planted 6/2/24Rescued from Summer Winds; the other plant that was with this one is still there months later 🙁

It’s happy to finally be planted after having sit in the pot for another 6 months after I bought it.
