10/3/25 – Looks like it made it through the first summer and it’s starting to break dormancy.
9/19/25 – Nothing but a couple of thorny sticks at the moment. I stopped watering it after spring, so hopefully it was able to get established.

12/31/24 – Planted along the back fence to keep the dogs away, it’s covered with thorns. It’s also deciduous so this is a good spot because it’s under an existing tree and heavily shaded in the summer.
Planted it next to the ‘Catherine Del La Mar’ Penstemon
