5/7/25 – These 2 plants are about 6′ each and are starting to grow together to form one solid hedge. I also have a pozo blue sage that’s starting to tale off and also a white sage that’s grown to about 5′ in a single season. The rich green and glossy leaves of the ceanothus contrast nicely with the silver and white from the other plants.

12/31/24 – These two plants replace a huge Ivy patch. These new plants are perfect for dogs since they have very thick branches and can take being trampled. They should form a solid hedge, spreading about 15-20 feet wide and 2-3 feet tall. The plant tends to mound if not given room to stretch it’s legs. I’ve been using rocks to keep some of the taller branches low to the ground and it seems to be working well. Planted in Jan 2024 from 3 gallon pots purchased from Home Depot.

2/19/24 – Planted these sometime in Jan from what I can remember. I bought these at Home Depot of all places.
