Tiny native bee hiding in the flower itself, I think it might be a digger bee, but then again it looks small. I also saw the green metalic bees today but they were too fast and small to catch a photo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3\/3\/26 – Flowers are starting to come in thick now! The Bees Bliss behind it, has EXPLODED this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\/14\/26 – Flowers are just now starting to form but the plant is LOADED with buds, it should look amazing in another month or so. It’s really starting to sprawl this year too; it seems happy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

11\/16\/25 – Love the contrast with the Bee’s Bliss. It’s loaded with flower buds and is spreading out nicely, even becoming a groundcover directly beneath the berm itself. Very happy with this plant, thank you Larry for the foresight to clone this plant. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

9\/27\/25 – Anchoring the berm very nicely, very short and dense, and nothing at all like my real Chocha, other than the flower color being identical. I’m going to have to prune this after it flowers this winter, it’s starting to encroach on the path. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7\/6\/25 – Just a few days shy of 1 year in the ground. This is a wonderful little plant! The REAL Concha I planted last year is 6′ tall and does not have the wonderful form that this one does. I also got rid of the bush germandar plant and replaced it with a sunset manzanita. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\/16\/25 – conchita is looking very nice, I love the compact, umbrella shape of the plant so far<\/strong>. It’s maybe 1 foot tall currently and about 4 feet wide<\/strong>. It’s a perfect shade of green and it looks great on the end of the berm.<\/strong> I still need to weed and mulch on this end of the berm<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
